The Purple Sicily Cauliflower is a beautiful purple variety of cauliflower that produces eye-capturing, large purple heads that can weigh up to 1.5kg! This variety is said to be easier to grow when compared to the white varieties. The bright purple colour fades to a lilac-blue when cooked.

The Purple Sicily cauliflower isn't commonly found in your local supermarket making it a great cool season crop for all gardeners.

Like all brassicas, keep your plants protected from pests such as the White Cabbage Butterfly and its caterpillars by netting growing area or using decoys or deterrents.
